Earl Hickey (Jason Lee), once a guy who did a lot of bad things, is now a firm believer in karma and seeks to right the wrongs he once committed.

When we last saw Earl, he was finally getting his life together. He landed a sales job, got an apartment, obtained a GED, and even had a girlfriend. Then, his pregnant ex-wife, Joy (Emmy winner Jaime Pressly), was facing mandatory time in prison for stealing a truck. This would have been Joy’s third strike. Earl did not want Joy to have to leave her family, so he took the blame for the crime and ended up getting sentenced to two years in prison.

My Name is Earl will be back with all new episodes beginning on Thursday, September 27th at 8/7c on NBC. The season premiere will be one hour long. Here are some spoilers for the new season of My Name is Earl.

NBC’s hit show, The Office, comes back with new episodes for the loyal fans of the Dunder Mifflin team on Thursday, September 27th at 9/8c. The fourth season of The Office is going to start off bigger than ever with hour long episodes the first four weeks.

Season 3 of The Office left viewers wondering if Jim (John Krasinski) and Pam (Jenna Fischer) might finally start dating, if Karen (Rashida Jones) actually got dumped by Jim because the audience did not actually see it happen before he asked Pam out, if Michael (Golden Globe winner Steve Carell) and the now unemployed Jan (Melora Hardin) are going to live together, if Ryan (B.J. Novak) will become Michael’s boss from hell now that he has Jan’s job at corporate, and fans are always wondering what Dwight (Rainn Wilson), Angela (Angela Kinsey), Meredith (Kate Flannery), Andy (Ed Helms), Phyllis (Phyllis Lapin), Stanley (Leslie Baker), Creed (Creed Bratton), Toby (Paul Lieberstein), Oscar (Oscar Nunez), Kevin (Brian Baumgartner), and Kelly (Mindy Kaling) will get into next.

The first episode of the fourth season of The Office is called “Fun Run”. A freak accident leads Michael to believe that the office is cursed. The Office: Jim as Dwight vs. Dwight as Jim

August 10, 2007

I am a diehard fan of The Office. Here is one of my favorite clips. Well, it is one of many favorite clips. When Jim (John Krasinski) imitates Dwight (Rainn Wilson), I love how he starts talking about bears, beets, (Dwight owns a beet farm) and Battlestar Galactica. Dwight retaliates and comes into work as Jim. Notice how Dwight mocks the looks that Jim is always making for the camera. Too funny!

If You Aren’t Watching NBC’s Hit Show, Then You Should Be

The hit NBC series, The Office, is an Emmy Award and Peabody Award winning television series. The Office is based on the popular British television series of the same name. The show focuses on the lackluster daily life of employees working at Dunder Mifflin, a fictional paper supply, company in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The show honors the daily drudgery of office life with a superb ensemble cast in this weekly comedy. Although the show is both fictional and scripted, it takes the form of a documentary with the presence of the camera often acknowledged.

The Office was developed for American audiences by Greg Daniels, whose impressive writing credits include Saturday Night Live, King of the Hill, and The Simpsons. It is co-produced by Greg Daniels’ Deedle-Dee Productions and Reveille Productions, in association with NBC Universal Television Studio. NBC commissioned the American version of The Office after the original British series won two Golden Globe awards. The American version is notably more fast-paced than the original British series. All of the characters were renamed for the American series.

Michael Scott, the pompous and deluded regional manager of Dunder Mifflin, is superbly played by Steve Carell. Carell received the 2006 Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Comedy for his portrayal of Michael Scott. Carell, along with co-writer Judd Apatow, also received a Writer’s Guild of America nomination for Best Original Screenplay for the summer box-office hit “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” from Universal Pictures. Due to his insecurity, Michael Scott prides himself in being “a friend first and a boss second”. Although Michael tries to be a friend to everyone in the office, his lack of self-awareness and unwittingly mean humor often create awkward situations which he is unable to extricate himself from. Michael is not intentionally hostile, just ignorant. Michael has been known to make sexist, ageist, and even racist comments around the office and is forced to backpedal, leading Michael to say the complete opposite of what he said previously in an effort to save face in front of the staff. On the contrary, Michael comes off as a sympathetic character due to his general lack of malice and genuine intent to make everyone around him happy (although he continually fails to do so).
